Baby Card - Stork Delivery

I love making baby cards and I needed 2 of them this week. I have a few on hand, but I wanted to design something new. When I saw the adorable stork paper from the Echo Park Baby Boy Collection in my stash, I knew it needed to be incorporated into the design of my card. I also wanted to include a clothesline of baby clothes somewhere on the card. A baby die set from Jaded Blossom was used to create them along with papers from the EP collection that I previously mentioned. I added some additional clouds to the stork background using cloud dies from My Favorite Things. I tucked a tiny heart behind the larger cloud to add more orange to the card. The sentiment was stamped onto the clouds because it seemed like the perfect place for it AND it's the perfect sentiment for a stork themed baby card!

Here is another photo of the card. I used adhesive foam dots on the stork background and clouds to give them dimension.

Onesie Baby Card

I made this custom baby card to accompany a baby gift. I thought it would be nice to include the baby's name on the front of the card so that it was a bit more personal. The card is fairly simple and understated which is what I love about it. I used a Jaded Blossom die and paper from Echo Park's Bundle of Joy 6x6 pad to make the onesie. Oliver's Stitched ABC's dies from Lawn Fawn and brown cardstock were used to customize the card with the baby boy's name. The onesie and baby's name were mounted on white cardstock with a scallop stitched edge frame surrounding both. Coordinating solid blue paper from the Bundle of Joy collection was used to add some color to the background. Welcome to the world, Luka!

Disney Magic Scrapbook Layout - Iconic Landmarks

I created this layout for a class I was teaching at my local scrapbook store back in 2019. Several collections of Disney-inspired papers from Echo Park were used to create the layout. I rarely use traditional colors for my Disney layouts so this was something different for me. Various punches, ephemera, wood veneer pieces, and my Silhouette Cameo were used to make the embellishments on this layout. I arranged them in several clusters around the layout to add interest and texture. Overall, I was pretty happy with how this layout turned out. I recently purchased the Simple Stories Say Cheese Main Street Collection so I will be trying my hand at more layouts and a 6x8 pocket album using traditional Disney colors. Stay tuned for that!

Kilimanjaro Safari Layout

I haven't scrapped photos from our trips to Disney World in about 2 years. This particular layout was from our trip in February 2014. I created this layout for a class I was teaching at my local scrapbook store back in 2019. I struggle with 2-page layouts so this one was a challenge for me, but I was happy with how it turned out. I wanted the photos to be the focal point of the layout so I used a subtle faux burlap printed paper. I added small touches of embellishments to enhance the pages.

4th of July Rainbow Card

The focal point of this 4th of July card is the rainbow. It was made using the My Favorite Things Rainbow Whimsy die. I like to use my supplies in unexpected ways so I made a patriotic rainbow for this card. I decided to use The Pebbles Americana collection of papers to make the rainbow rather than plain red, white & blue cardstock. The patterned papers add a little more interest & detail to the card. I also love how the red, white & blue patterns pop against the stark white embossed star background. The embossed stars and wonky stitching border add texture to the card.
