New Home Card

I needed a card for someone that recently purchased a home and I wanted it to be simple, yet pretty. I went through my stash of supplies and grabbed some dies, an embossing folder and pretty floral papers and then started to brainstorm ideas for the card. After several failed attempts, I came up with this design. I really love the floral papers and how they look bright and cheery against the white brick embossed background.

I really wanted to include a house on the card, so I replaced the O in HOME with a tiny house. The door of the house actually opens and closes!

Some green cardstock was used under the letters to give them a shadow effect and to make them more visible against the white background. A congrats sentiment was stamped on white cardstock and attached with adhesive foam squares to complete the card.

I'm really happy with how this card turned out and I hope the recipient loves it too.
