Let it Snow Card - Snowman 1

I enjoy creating cards with patterned papers and dies because they don't require tedious coloring and shading. This card has only 2 stamped images. One is on the front of the card and the other is the sentiment inside the card. That's definitely a bonus if you need to make multiples of the same card to send out for Christmas! I plan on making several of these cards. I'm also making a second version of this card using a different paper collection.

Keep reading for additional details and a supply list to make this card!

The Hello Bluebird Winter Woods Overlay die set was used to make the majority of this card along with an Echo Park 6x6 Christmas paper pad. I decided I wanted the trees and border to be cut from a floral paper instead of plain cardstock.

I think it looks really pretty against the faux wood paper. The white flecks on the paper look like snow. No need for white paint since the paper already has the white flecks printed on it! I added some holly leaves and berries to the trees and a snowflake next to the snowman. The leaves, berries, snowman and Let it Snow sentiment were attached to the card with adhesive foam dots. I love using them to add dimension to my cards.

I'm really pleased with how this card turned out. I need to make a few more so I can get them in the mail before Christmas!
