Fall Pumpkin Card 4

I can't stop making cards using the Jaded Blossom Fancy Pumpkin die! This is the fifth card I've made using the die and my fourth fall card. I used the Gracious Collection by Authentique for this fall card. The earth tone patterns in this collection are absolutely beautiful! I really love how this card turned out.

If you'd like to make this card, keep reading for the instructions, as well as a full list of the supplies I used to create the card.

I used Authentique's Gracious 8x8 Bundle for this card.

Cut a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" rectangle out of the plaid paper.

Use the largest die from the Jaded Blossom Scallop Rectangle die set to cut the background.

I chose the wheat paper from the collection because it's not too busy and it compliments the other papers I chose for the card. Ink the edges using vintage photo Distress Oxide Ink.

Now it's time to cut the pumpkin. I used kraft cardstock for the base and frame of the pumpkin. I chose the pumpkin and gourd paper for the pumpkin and the plaid paper for the leaf and tendrils.

This is what the pumpkin looks like when it's assembled. Ink the edges of the pumpkin using vintage photo Distress Oxide Ink.

Next, cut the acorn from the brown acorn paper using the acorn die from the Tim Holtz Autumn Sidekick set, the frame pumpkin from the plaid paper using the die from the Sizzix Cutest Pumpkin die set and a solid pumpkin from the floral paper using the pumpkin die from the Tim Holtz Autumn Sidekick set. Ink the edges using vintage photo Distress Oxide Ink.

It's time to assemble the card. Attach the plaid piece of paper to an A2 size card base. I made my own card base using kraft cardstock. Make sure the card opens from the bottom so that the twine bow can be wrapped around the top of the card. Attach the wheat paper to the card base using adhesive foam tape.

Use this photo for placement of the pumpkins and acorn. First, attach the large pumpkin using adhesive foam dots. The leaf is attached to the pumpkin using adhesive foam dots and the tendrils are attached using glue.

Don't glue down the top parts of the tendrils. Leave them sticking out from the card for dimension. Glue the small pumpkin frame to the front of the large pumpkin. Next, use adhesive foam dots to attach the floral pumpkin and acorn to the front of the large pumpkin.

Next, glue the sentiment to the top left hand corner of the card. I cut apart the words from one of the small cards in the paper bundle. Ink the edges of the word strips before attaching them to the card.

Wrap twine around the top of the card and finish with a bow. Your card is complete!
