Baby Animals Baby Card

For this card, I decided to go with a more neutral color palette. This way, it could be used no matter what gender baby your friend or family member might be having. The baby animals look absolutely adorable in the light green, yellow, and pink papers. They pair perfectly with the plaid background paper I chose. I like to use various textures on my projects, so I chose cardstock that looks like linen and Swiss dot cardstock. Additionally, I used a peek-a-boo die from My Favorite Things and tucked the animals inside, so they look like they are peeking out from the card. For the "oh baby" phrase, I die cut 4 layers in light blue cardstock and stacked them on top of each other. In doing so, it has some dimension and is not be flat against the card. I like using this technique better than using adhesive foam dots. I will probably make a few more of these cards, just to have then on hand. After all, you never know when you may need a baby card!
